Atal Gyanshala Organised in Lucknow, Students Encouraged to Embrace Holistic Learning

Lucknow: An educational initiative aimed at inspiring young minds was organised at the Atal Seva Kendra in Sector-K, Ashiyana, by the Ashiyana Residents Association. The “Atal Gyanshala” programme focused on highlighting the importance of education beyond textbooks and motivating children to pursue their goals with dedication.

The event in Lucknow began on a vibrant note, with children presenting a melodious song that set the tone for the session.

Emphasis on Practical Learning

The keynote speaker, former GST Commissioner and noted litterateur S.N. Awasthi, emphasised that education is not limited to acquiring theoretical knowledge but lies in applying it in daily life.

“True learning reflects in one’s actions. Success comes through consistent practice and discipline,” he said, sharing relatable examples to inspire students to stay focused on their ambitions.

Meritorious Student Honoured

On the occasion, Anushka Agarwal, who secured an outstanding 98.8% in the ICSE High School examination, was felicitated for her achievement. The recognition served as motivation for other students present at the event.

Participation and Engagement

Around 60 children attended the programme and were given gifts and refreshments. The event saw the presence of several association members, including General Secretary A.C. Agnihotri, Umesh Chandra Dwivedi, Pratul Kumar Gupta, Neeraj Pandey, Alok Dwivedi, Avinash Agrawal, Atul Kumar Tandon, and Dr. Shankar Chatterjee.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Organisers said the initiative aimed to instil the value of education and encourage children to work towards their goals with determination. The session proved to be both engaging and enlightening, reinforcing the role of community-led efforts in nurturing young talent.
